WSSMA Site Wins National Award

 

The American Association of Medical Assistants awarded the Washington State Society of Medical Assistants the national "Excel" award for their website created by Dempsey Design.

The Award was presented before more than 700 medical assistants from across the country at the 54th annual AAMA National conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Barbara Dahl of the Washington State Society of Medical Assistants explained that the website was designed as a member-owned, and member-used tool. “It was critical in the redesign that we allow each chapter of the State Association the ability to generate, produce, and control the content on their own page. This has been tremendous for member involvement, and the site in general has been very well received by our members.”

I am very pleased to have created such a useful and award winning tool for such a wonderful organization.

Washington State Society for Medical Assistants

I'm pleased to announce the launch of the Washington State Society for Medical Assistant's new website. WSSMA's new website is built on the Wordpress platform and is my first Wordpress effort.  I am quite pleased with the results.

WSSMA's site features an interactive "Ima M.A." question-and-answer feature, a site membership & editor feature with the potential for hundreds of users and Flickr integration. The site will be maintained by 2 primary WSSMA webmasters and each chapter will have a "pagemaster" so individual chapters can keep their own page updated.
